Content Ownership and Rights: By submitting content to our platform, you represent and warrant that: • You own all rights to the music and materials you submit • Your content does not infringe on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights • You have obtained all necessary licenses, permissions, and clearances • All samples, interpolations, and cover songs have proper authorization Label Rights and Content Takedown: Alter™ Exclusive, as your label and distribution partner, reserves the right to: • Remove or disable access to any content at our discretion • Takedown content that violates copyright law or infringement claims • Suspend distribution of content under investigation for rights violations • Terminate accounts for repeated copyright violations • Take action on content posted to unauthorized channels or platforms We will takedown content if: • We receive a valid DMCA notice or copyright claim • The content is found to infringe third-party rights • The content is distributed on unauthorized channels without proper licensing • We are required to do so by law or court order Copyright Infringement Claims (DMCA): If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without authorization, submit a written notice to business@alterexclusive.com including: 1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed 2. Identification of the infringing material and its location 3. Your contact information (address, telephone, email) 4. A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized 5. A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act 6. Your physical or electronic signature
If your content was removed due to a copyright claim and you believe it was removed in error or you have authorization to use the content, you may submit a counter-notification. Counter-Notification Requirements: Send a counter-notification to business@alterexclusive.com including: 1. Identification of the removed content and its previous location 2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have authorization to use the content 3. Your name, address, telephone number, and email 4. A statement consenting to jurisdiction of federal court in your district 5. A statement that you will accept service of process from the original claimant 6. Your physical or electronic signature Counter-Notification Process: • We will forward your counter-notification to the original claimant • If the claimant does not file a lawsuit within 10-14 business days, we may restore your content • The restoration process may take an additional 2-3 business days Repeat Infringer Policy: Users who repeatedly violate copyright law or receive multiple valid DMCA notices will have their accounts permanently terminated. We maintain a record of all copyright claims and takedown requests.
